Sensory mapping
PAS 6463:2022, Design for the mind – Neurodiversity and the built environment – Guide, published by BSI Standards Limited 2022, defines sensory mapping as a: ‘map showing the rich tapestry of sensory experiences a space has to offer… It can be used to show areas of high sensory stimulation such as noisy, busy or visually bright or patterned areas.’
